Sheryce, 17 years old
For any seventeen year old, school balls are an incredibly important part of school life. Sheryce dreamed of having the help of a Fairy Godmother to help her get ready for her Opotoki School Ball.
Sheryce has Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia, which meant she had only visited Auckland to spend time in Starship. It was a real treat for Sheryce and her friends to fly to Auckland to pick out their dresses, shoes, clutches and jewellery. The ball theme was 007 James Bond, so it was only fitting for them to visit Glamour Boutique who helped prepare the girls to look absolutely perfect for their special night. The girls received styling tips and spent the afternoon trying on all sorts of different glamourous dresses! With the help of Dot Wilson and the Opotiki community, Sheryce looked absolutely stunning and had the best night of her life. To complete her fairy-tale night, Sheryce was named Queen of the ball!
