PRFA Key Messages 


Make-A-Wish NZ has contracted the services of experienced face-to-face fundraising organisation Cornucopia to act on its behalf. It is implementing added social distancing measures to ensure Make-A-Wish can receive vital funds without compromising the welfare of the fundraisers and our generous donors.

Make-A-Wish NZ has been assured that Cornucopia has safety measures in place to keep the donors and fundraisers safe. These include:

• Training fundraisers in working within the rules of Ministry of Health’s regulations for Alert Level 2 of Covid-19
• Equipping fundraisers with contactless donation systems, hand sanitiser and screen wipes
• Daily temperature checks of all in-the-field fundraisers
• Conducting weekly reviews of processes

Make-A-Wish takes seriously any breach of guidelines, and any incidents where the public is at risk, and will conduct a full investigation of any allegations of a breach.
