National Office Team
Our highly energetic and dedicated staff form the Make-A-Wish NZ team in our national office based in Newmarket, Auckland.
The two core functions of our organisation are Fundraising and Wish Delivery - each member of our team has an important part to play in the successful delivery of wishes to Kiwi children with critical illnesses, contributing specialist skills to their individual roles, and working together to achieve exceptional results.
Under governance from an experienced Board - a mix of long-serving and recent appointments, our Board members bring a range of specialist knowledge to achieve operational excellence and to provide strategic advice.
Make-A-Wish NZ were recognised for their exemplary performance in Wish Delivery in 2018 with the Make-A-Wish International Award for Wish Delivery 2015-2017 (delivering the most wishes per capita across 42 Make-A-Wish affiliate countries). As one of the smaller Make-A-Wish affiliates we are very proud of this achievement!
