Volunteers contribute to fulfilling the Make-A-Wish^® mission in a number of ways:

Wish Granting Volunteers are involved in the wish granting process from the initial meeting with the wish child and their family to discuss the wish request, to liaising with our wish coordinators to turn the wish into reality and then the wonderful wish presentation.

Promotion Volunteers work diligently to promote Make-A-Wish in their local community by speaking to community service groups and local media, or distributing information.

Fundraising All Make-A-Wish volunteers are encouraged to participate in a range of fundraising activities in their local community.  Volunteers are great at using new and imaginative ways to raise funds which means more wishes can be granted.  The main theme for all volunteer fundraising is fun – every one of our volunteers plays a very special part in helping grant more wishes.
